Wanna know somethin’?
I can’t write that fast. Any timely reviews from me you should not expect. Be that as it may, and while I’m waiting for the mid-season premiere on August 12, AND while I compose the rest of my stuff, enjoy this review of “The Good Man” from season 1 of “Fear The Walking dead.
HEY SPOILER ALERT! IF YOU CAN’T TAKE THE
SPOILER HEAT, THEN GET OUTTA THE SNARKY
Opening with an ariel shots of a desolate Los Angeles,(you really see society fall over on its side in this episode) and backed by “It Comes Back To Haunt Us” (this show has very thematically appropriate music) we see Madison and Travis packing to flee Los Angeles. They take Andrew Adams, the soldier they took hostage, and whom bad-ass Daniel Salazar tortured for information.
They drive off, passing by a family unaware of the calamity that will soon befall them.
Plants Vs. Zombies-The Board Game!
This is the first of two times that gates, meant to protect those inside, have been left wide open for anyone or anything to get inside!
Release the Zombies!
Victor Strand, the most interesting man in the zombie apocalypse. He kind of started Nick on his path of redemption.
Oh well. 🙁
Meanwhile Dr. Exner, once convinced the situation was containable, now admits things have spiraled out of control.
“Nothing left for me but this cow-pistol to my head!”
After letting Andrew Adams go, pacifist-Travis watches in horror as he returns and shoots the soon-to-be-badass-as-well-as-NOW-DEAD Ophelia Salazar.
Converts are the worst!
Escaping Los Angeles, they discover Liza, mother to Chris, ex-wife to Travis, was bitten.
Don’t invest too much of your heart into ANY of these characters. Just sayin’.
We’re left with a shot of Travis Manawa, “The Good Man” on the beach with Madison, and another appropriate music track, Kettering by The Antlers
This is a great show(for the most part). I really totally and surely enjoy it!
The next review is not too obsolete so stay tuned!
